Darren Redden testified Tuesday that he came to the house and found John Duich Garrison "in agony" Duich on the bed, his body burned, still bubbling and blistering of the skin moved out, dressed in a burnt dark t-shirt, a flannel shirt and clean white panties. He suffered third degree burns over 77 percent of his body.
"Every part of his body seemed to burn --- every part visible to me," said Redden.
"It was not pretty, it has been?" Roustio asked.
"No, it was not," said Redden.
Redden described the dress to wear than Duich "frantic" when he arrived home that evening. Redden said he tried to calm him while paramedics tended to 34 years, Garrison, who was taken to the downtown St. John's Mercy Medical in Creve Coeur, Missouri, but he died seven weeks later.
Redden said he looked around the house of a suspect or burned debris, but found neither. He then went to the home of Lisa Marshall, only two doors and asked when she last saw the garrison. She told him he thought he was with Ragusa. Redden then visited the home Garrison and found it locked.
