Build A Boot Rack
Whether you're shoveling snow, working in the garden or walking in the rain, boots may get wet and when to do it the best way to dry them is upside down. Using waste wood I can show you how to make a simple starter stand.
All you need is a solid piece of wood that is more square than rectangular, some old broom or mop handles or any other pin thick with a rounded tip and a drill with a drill the same width as your ankles.
Cut your ankles long enough to fit your boots upside down on the ankle, but not completely fit inside the boot.
Use your spade bit to drill holes a few inches apart in the center of the board.
Clear wood chips, then put a little wood glue on the pin and tap into place.
Once the glue dries, you can paint the grill, or leave them unchanged for a rustic look - Simply return your boots upside down on their ankles and they will dry in no time.
