For very parsimonious speakers, this pair does a fine job. I use them in a small space and don't intend to ever test their full strength. Have yet to solve a an difficulty buzz in one of the speakers, which is really annoying! -
Geat speakers, but not the overpower.
First off, i sweet these speakers. they are very nice and i truely love my pair, but they werent so loveable right out of the box. the bass on these is enjoyable and sprightly, but somewhat sloppy, and the crossover( which is a single 1.2uF cap) is insuffitient for a truely nice pair of speakers....

In organization to hook up those speakers to your computer you will need some sort of amplifier. Your PC's headphone output will not be sufficiently formidable to drive these speakers.

I am fixing up some book shelf speakers and on my other (newer) bookshelf speakers, the confidential is completly covered in insulation. In the older speakers i am fixing up, the insulation is only one the back face ruin and not on the other 2...
Put the insulation in. It dampens undesired vibrations, and reflections from unsympathetic surfaces.
Cotton batting is good for this application, you can get it at Wal-mart where it is sold for stuffing pillows and crafts.
A $25 speaker an audiophile can love
An audiophile friend of mine, Dave King, e-mail me the other day on his latest find, the B652 Dayton ($ 25 per pair). He did not arrive in time for my Top 10 dealers audio blog the other day, or he would surely have been included.
I have known Dave for 20 years, and we have heard a lot of Hi-FIS all, so I know he had big ears. And he knows how to attract my attention: "I am certain that I recently discovered the absolute point of diminishing returns Hi-fi speakers. They remind me a lot of speakers Wharfedale Diamond once, but the B652 has a 6.5-inch midwoofer instead of diamonds "of 4.5 inches."The original diamonds have been really great in the 1980s, they were easily the best budget speaker at the time, but even then they are more like $ 60 or $ 70 a pair. They were probably made in England, the B652 Dayton is built in China.
It is a medium size, black vinyl coated monitors, 11.7 inches high, 7.1 cm wide and 6.5 cm deep. The front baffle is hosting a polypropylene woofer and a 6.5-inch tweeter 0.6 cm polycarbonate ferrofluid cooled. Dave liked the fit and finish well but it was not too happy with the connectors B652 Dayton wire spring clip.I agree, clip connectors never much grip on the son, so they can fall when you move the speakers. I saw these things on the speakers $ 100, but on a speaker $ 25 you can not really complain of spring clips.
