Hi. I after to paint a mural (with a paint brush) on molded plastic outdoor furniture. It stays outdoors all year.

I've tried actually good primer, acrylic paint, and a sealer but after one season, it started peeling.

Primers and limn do not adhere well to plastic - there is no absorption into the material. You can sand ( roughen) the plastic to improve the adhesion of the prime to the plastic.

Unprejudiced a thought - how about automotive paint?...

I have gloominess green plastic outdoor furniture which has faded from the sun and has lost most of it's original color.

Any suggestions on how to re-polish and health it's original colour?

One method that is good trying is to use a soft cloth with WD-40. It will remove all signs of weathering and spark a nice shine.

The smell disappears very quickly and you'll be pleased iwth the results.
