You would have knowledge of if it's oak because oak is so heavy! Any oak has a very distinctive grain. Mahogany is heavy too but no grain at all! Pine is alight weight and dents easily. Can't see your pic, BTW. You should be able to google...

Couple of ACC-Big Ten Challenge Matchups Leaked; Who Might Maryland Play?
Ah, the ACC-Big Ten Challenge: Perhaps nothing so well illustrated the dominance of the ACC on all other conferences of this Annual Midwest Beatdown schools until they were going to lose everything by winning the last year. This means that next year it might actually be some uncertainty in the tournament, the suspense.
To reduce the suspense a little (or perhaps ratchet up), some of the confrontations for the challenge next year have been unveiled. Although they will not be published in full until next week, Jeff Goodman of Prime Minister.Michigan State will play against Duke in Durham, Purdue will play at Virginia Tech and Ohio State will play at Florida State. Meanwhile, North Carolina will travel to Illinois and NC State will play Wisconsin in Madison.
Who does that leave for Maryland? Whoever decides these things will try to match teams of similar zones in the rankings, and tries to avoid years back to back on the road (or home) and rematches if possible (these are very flexible).
