I dare say what i'm asking is if anything bad can happen if I do this? I'm renting a room and want the sofa to be in htis one spot, but if I locate it there, it will cover the vent on the floor.
Nope, truly my couch is over a vent. You simply just cannot get the heat circulating as good throughout the house.

The defendant, Eric L. Hunter was charged by the bill of information filed April 25, 2007, possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, in violation of La.RS 40:967. On May 2, 2007, the Defendant entered a plea of not guilty. The defendant then proceeded to trial and, 5 August 2008, has been convicted.The defendant was sentenced on December 10, 2008, to serve twenty years hard labor, with the first two years of the sentence to be served without benefit of probation, parole or suspension of sentence.
