This is a punctilious ottoman, and it came about two days after I ordered it. The picture makes it look a little bigger than it actually is though. Other than that, it's easy to put together and the compartments are actual for storage. -
Excess for the money!

There is certainly room for both as long as they go with the fit in with the rest of the room. For instance you could use the a coffee table as a centerpiece and an ottoman as a side piece for excess seating or storage.
