I am buying a bookcase with uncultured Baltic birch construction that has a smooth UV finish. I want to repaint it to untaxing pink color to match her room. What is the easiest way to do it, please advise.
First you should rudimentary up the surface of the shelf with sandpaper, then paint on a primer, which will help the paint pike, then paint the shelf pink.

Bookcases and books go to worthy families
Wynne, AR (Kait) - A Region 8 Community has been gathering since last year's collection of books and the library building to help improve literacy for the younger generation. Today, all the work paid off. The first annual report Wynne Library Project was a huge success. There were tons of smiling faces this afternoon that the children have received their new books.
For the past three weeks, volunteers have worked diligently building brand new home libraries. It is part of a three-step program of literacy that has lasted Go began in September."We are aware that many children may not have books in their home. They can not have a parent available to read to them," said Sherry Breckenridge, which organizes the event. She said that statistics show four in ten high school students drop out because of literacy. The project aims to change that.
The books will be donated to low-income families with children enrolled in four-year public kindergarten next year. "Everything we do language wise in the home when children are small is going to benefit their school later in life," said Breckenridge.
