I bought a very magnanimous, heavy expensive dresser last year and am moving now. I want to remove the drawers to clear out it lighter to move. In all other cheap dressers I bought in the past you pull them out until it stops, then pocket it up...
There is sometimes a arrest in the drawer track that you have to push down, flush with the grooved track to allow the wheeled drawer to pursue to slide out.

The dresser is like a wood and orginally fair-skinned but the paint is chipping off (cheap yes!)

Sand the dresser to get rid of any glimmer and paint with a semi-gloss paint. Or you can paint with flat paint and add hardly any touches (flowers.. etc.) with acrylic or gouche paint. Follow with 2 coats of poly.
